Annual Giving Guide

Our vision is to be recognized and valued by our community as a place that extends grace, provides education, and offers ongoing, compassionate support before, during, and after pregnancy. Our programs are confidential and are offered in a safe and judgment-free environment, regardless of age, gender, race, or religion. We have offices in Red Deer and Rocky Mountain House.

Being primarily privately funded, we rely on the generosity of our community to enable us to run our programs at no cost to our clients. This guide provides examples of how your donation may be used. All gifts are welcome and will go towards the operating funds of the CAPCC. We promise to use your gift in the most effective way possible, being good stewards of every dollar we receive.

*Maternity Home residents contribute program fees as they are able.

When my twins were born, my world completely shifted. I was suddenly responsible for two tiny lives, while still trying to hold myself together through sleepless nights, endless feedings, and a growing mountain of needs that seemed to expand by the day. It was beautiful, but it was also overwhelming.

That’s when the Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre stepped in. They didn’t just hand out things – they became a safety net when I felt like I was falling. They helped ensure my babies always had what they needed. But the real gift was more than material.

They gave me connection - someone to talk to when I felt isolated. A client advocate who reminded me I wasn’t failing, just figuring things out. Parenting classes taught me practical skills and gave me the confidence I needed. Each piece of support lifted some of the weight off my shoulders and reminded me that I wasn’t alone.

They walked alongside me in one of the most important seasons of my life. This program gave me more than help – it gave me dignity, encouragement, and the reminder that community is powerful. I have gratitude for how they touched my life and helped me give my twins the start they deserved.
