Red Deer News

Our Red Deer centre location has experienced a 44% increase in client visits in the last five months! These visits have been in person or virtual, based on the clients’ preference. The need is evident as more people seek education and practical support before, during, and after pregnancy. In response to the increased need for social interactions coupled with education, the Red Deer office is now offering a Mom’s Connection Group for clients once a week. This program aims to connect moms to strengthen their support systems while increasing their knowledge of parenting and life skills.

Drumheller News

The Drumheller office is looking forward to our first in-person event since the initial fundraiser in 2019! The dessert night fundraiser and silent auction will be on Thursday, June 16, at 7:00 pm. If you would like to become a matching donor, please email accounting@pregnancycare.ca. We are also looking forward to equipping a new set of volunteer Client Advocates who completed their training session at the end of May. Please pray for the individuals and families who reach out to the CAPCC for support, the success of our upcoming fundraiser, and increased community awareness.

Rocky Mountain House News

You're invited to the GRAND OPENING of the NEW location of the Rocky Mountain House office. Join us at 5110 50 Avenue, Rocky Mountain House, on Wednesday, June 22, from 12 pm - 2 pm for refreshments and an open house, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon. We want to extend gratitude to the community for all the support they have shown the Centre for the past six years. Individuals, churches, community groups, and local businesses amaze us with their generosity. Your support has been evident in the volunteer hours given, prayers, and monetary and material donations. Olds News

Since moving to our new location in Olds, we have seen an increase in the need for our programs, and we have experienced growth in our volunteer base. Thank you to everyone who has made this possible.

We are excited to share our upcoming fundraiser this summer! On Sunday, August 14, we are hosting a Walk-a-Thon fundraiser at Olds College. Invite your friends and family and join us for snacks, refreshments, games for the kids, and information about the Centre. Gather your pledges and enjoy a walk in the beautifully landscaped Olds College botanical gardens and wetlands. Watch for more details on our website and Facebook.

Stettler News

Thank you to the community of Stettler for their support at our Dessert Evening fundraiser on April 21. After a two-year break, it was wonderful to get together, enjoy some incredible pies, and celebrate the opening of our newest office in Stettler. We were also happy to celebrate the official grand opening of the office on May 2 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The office in Stettler is currently open on Mondays from 9 am – 3 pm.

We are excited to announce that Crystal Stewart has accepted the role of Centre Director in Stettler. She recently completed her volunteer training and is eager to settle into her new position.
