Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Thanks to everyone who participated in "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" on June 12, 2010.  If you missed on the opportunity to make a pledge for one of this year's walkers, it's not too late. Call the Centre at (403) 343-1611 or go here and click the "Sponsor" button to select a walker to sponsor. Pledges can be fulfilled by sending a check to our office or  donating online.

Pledges keep rolling in, and we will report on the total amount raised in the near future. Check out our Facebook page for pictures of that day.

Baby Bottle Campaign: Spare Change for Real Change

This annual campaign runs between Mother's Day (May 9, 2010) and Father's Day (June 20, 2010). 

How it works: Empty baby bottles are distributed through participating Central Alberta Churches on Mother's Day. Families and individuals take them home to use as piggy banks for spare change. The bottles are collected at churches on Father's Day, then returned to the Centre. The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre is a registered charity, and your donation is tax deductible.

It sounds pretty simple, and it is! In 2009 this simple, but important fundraiser brought in over $43,000. Our goal for 2010 is to raise $45,000. Your spare change really can make a difference! Fall Fundraising Banquet

This evening is a great opportunity to hear about the issues surrounding unintended pregnancy and the lives being touched by the work of the Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre.
